There are all kinds of opportunities
to network and gain business through BNI:
- Members get business directly from
other members
- Members gain business
by referrals to contacts outside the network
- Everyone
improves their presentation skills by giving
a one minute speech each week
- Members improve their business networking
skills - a useful tool for gaining business
outside of BNI
"My presentational skills have
dramatically improved. BNI has given me a new confidence
to speak to people about what I do, and has opened many
new business opportunities"
George Christo, Printer
The weekly meeting is just the start. BNI gives opportunities
to:
- Build long-term business relationships through
'one-to-one' sessions, where two members spend an hour
discussing their businesses and any areas for referral
- Gain business from other BNI groups by
'substituting'. Members can attend another chapter
meeting
in place of an absent member. The 'sub' can then meet other
members,
present their one minute speech and gain further
referrals
- Learn more about marketing and business development.
BNI runs many useful workshops covering presentation and
networking skills, conferences and dinners
